Dual seal flange adapters from Parker Hannifin were designed to improve the reliability and safety of high-vibration, high-shock hydraulic four-bolt connections in critical subsea oil and gas applications. An alternative to traditional flanges, the adapters offer a working pressure rating up to 7500 psi (515 bar). Available in standard Code 62 footprint sizes 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5 in (13, 25, and 38 mm), adapters incorporate both radial and face seal methods for improved port retention and increased sealing capacity, reducing the potential for system leakage and air/water ingression caused by side loading and preventing associated replacement. The face seal resists external environmental pressures, while a captive O-ring groove design further reduces leak potential by preserving sealing and preventing assembly errors. The flange head is interchangeable with commercially available flange components and hardware; adapters are constructed from stainless steel and are fully heat code traceable.
