Zero-Max overhung load adapters (OHLAs) provide load support to eliminate premature hydraulic motor or pump bearing failure. OHLAs provide a mounting surface while sealing out dirt and contamination in harsh environments and offer support for both radial and axial loads. The rugged adapters are built from premium materials, and shafts are machined from 130,000-psi (8963-bar) stress-proofed steel. Designed for face or foot mounting, OHLAs are available with shaft options including splined, threaded, tapered, and extended output. Special input bores and housing modifications also are available. Input bore sizes range from 5/8 to 3-1/2 in (16 to 89 mm), and applications include forestry shredders, recycling systems, cold planers for road paving, and industrial conveyor drives.
