The VE10, VE30, and VE60 exchange valves from Poclain Hydraulics are suitable for exchange flows from 10 to 60 L/min (3 to 16 gal/min) in circuits at 450 bar (6530 psi). The exchange pressure can be adjusted between 12 and 30 bar (175 and 435 psi) using the VE30 and VE60 versions. The range of valves enables some of the hot oil to be deducted and transported to a cooler. The cooled oil then is able to continuously regulate the temperature of the hydraulic circuit. Benefits of the valve range include compact, improved integration into various hydraulic circuits; modularity to be used on flanges or tubing; and adaptable exchange pressure that can be adjusted based on need. The VE30 offers a maximum pressure of 480 bar (6960 psi) with a mass of 1.4 kg (3.09 lb), while the VE60 features 3.8 kg (8.38 lb).
