Undercarriage propel systems from Caterpillar provide hydraulic power and electronic controls for track motion control and were designed for improved performance when integrated with the company’s undercarriage models. Propel systems are available in either open or closed circuit configurations, depending on equipment, and are available for a gross machine mass range of 37,000 to 140,000 lb (16,780 to 63,500 kg). Benefits include rugged design to withstand harsh environments, integration with existing hydraulic systems, and scalability to current product lines.
