The Agera two-seat sports car has all carbon-fiber body, carbon-fiber wheels, and an in-house developed 5.0-L V8 rated at 1100 hp (821 kW) on premium pump gasoline, 1200 hp (895 kW) on E85. The transmission is a special dual-clutch 7-speed design developed in conjunction with Cima.
Vehicle has 18 mi/30 km all-electric range from lithium-ion battery pack. Uses 2.0-l twin-scroll turbo engine with combination peak output of 270 hp/201 kW and 300 lb ft/407 N-m. Offers "predictive navigation" for high fuel efficiency, and can save battery capacity for areas that may require electric vehicle-only operation. European drive cycle ratings are 3.8 l/100 km (62 mpg) and just 89 grams CO₂/100 km.
Charger, with its new sheet metal, received the majority of the L-platform investment, but both modern muscle machines get new transmissions, EPS, chassis upgrades, all-new electrical architectures, "Performance Pages" driver interface, and more performance.
