GS Yuasa Lithium Power offers the LIM50E Series of lithium-ion battery modules, including the LIM50E-7G and the LIM50E-8G, to provide energy storage solutions with improved density and service life. LIM50E applications include utility grid ancillary support, storage, and industrial electric vehicles. The modules also offer integrated battery management electronics to monitor individual cell voltage and temperature; to report over charge, over discharge, and abnormal temperature; and to perform cell balancing. The LIM50E-7G weighs 15 kg (33 lb) and measures 180 x 412 x 135 mm (7 x 16 x 5 in), while the slightly larger LIM50E-8G has a mass of 17.5 kg (38.5 lb). Operating temperature range for the series is -10 to +45°C (14 to 113°F) with a maximum charge current of 125 A.
