Shigeki Terashi

Shigeki Terashi, 57, has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing North America (TEMA). He also has been appointed President of the Toyota Technical Center (TTC), also located in Ann Arbor, MI. Previously, he was Executive Vice President of TEMA and president of TTC. He joined Toyota in 1980 in the body engineering design division, working on the Camry. He has bachelor and master degrees in engineering from the University of Kobe.
