JST’s LEB Series wire-to-board, board-to-board, crimp-style connectors offer subminiature size and reliable contact construction for applications such as LED light bars. The connector has a 0.157-in pitch and a mated side entry height of 0.104 in and is designed to not interfere with the luminescence angle of the PCB-mounted LEDs. The side-entry SMT connectors are polarized and incorporate a friction-locking feature, preventing accidental disconnection. Contacts are offered on standard size reels for semiautomatic or fully automatic application tooling, while mini-reels are offered for mini-reel hand tools. SMT headers are provided on embossed tape for automatic insertion equipment.
