Wheel fastener RP-1000E6 from TorcUP is designed for the commercial truck, bus, and mass transit industries and achieves a non-impacting, ±5% accurate torque. Designed to prevent under- or over-tightening of wheel fasteners and the resulting loosening/separation damage or installation stretching and breaking, the slim, 6-in (152.4-mm) integral nose extension is able to reach recessed wheel lug nut applications and features a range of torque output from 250 to 1000 lb·ft (340 to 1356 N·m). The reversible RP-1000E6 allows removal of lugs or nuts while providing precision torque for proper wheel installation as well as re-torque checking 50 to 100 mi (80 to 161 km) after installation. Employed best practice design elements include appropriate sequence tightening and use of proper sockets.
