To address the shortcomings of metric rod end bearings with inner races or rings of limited-strength brass, bronze, or copper that can develop excess clearance in high load or high vibration applications, Aurora Bearing offers alternatives constructed from a low-carbon steel raceway to improve ball/race durability with comparable load capacity. For bearing-demanding vibratory load applications, KM-M and KW-M bearings are of a heat-treated alloy steel raceway around the ball in a low-carbon steel body. For severe applications with high load and vibratory conditions, the AM-M and AW-M series feature a heat-treated raceway bearing construction combined with an alloy steel body. All three-piece ends feature the AT series polytetrafluoroethylene liner for improved self lubricating and extended service life.
