Airaid Filter and PJ Jones have teamed to provide the utility terrain vehicle (UTV) market with a performance intake system for the Polaris RZR 800 UTV. This intake system increases airflow over the stock system while improving overall power and performance, adding up to 4 hp (3 kW). The kit features an Airaid premium filter with SynthaFlow technology to extend service intervals and increase ride time. The filter is sealed inside a roto-molded airbox to minimize dirt exposure. Other features include large air inlets and available prefilters. Kits bolt on without additional tuning required, and all come complete with necessary hardware and detailed instructions. An optional snorkel attachment allows the RZR to charge aggressively through water and mud.

Thermal imaging data obtained from a FLIR high-performance camera shows that the expected turbine output temperature is approximately 285°C when the helicopter is in forward flight. However, during hover operations a steady state temperature of about 343°C will be reached.
