The Arens 6-kW (8-hp) Powerpac dc/ac converter for hybrid vehicles provides true sine wave power for demanding truck, bus, agricultural, and construction equipment environments. Available in both air- and liquid-cooled versions, the Powerpac's 46-lb (21-kg) compact size features improved power density and surge capacity as well as a continuous operating temperature of -40 to +65°C (-40 to +149°F). A rugged diecast enclosure is sealed to IP-67/6K9K. The device conforms to Group 31 battery configuration and powers all ac accessories with a nominal output voltage of 115 V ac. The Powerpac also offers a sealed fan, CAN communication, intelligent thermal protection, and self-diagnostic capability.
