Subaru’s line of SGX generators offer durable construction and Subaru EX overhead cam engines for improved reliability, power, and ruggedness. The commercial generators are available in three models. With a maximum output of 3500 W, the SGX3500 uses Subaru’s EX21 7-hp (5.2-kW) engine, while the SGX5000 uses the 9.5-hp (7.1-kW) EX30 engine and offers a maximum output of 4900 W. With a 14-hp (10.4-kW) EX40 engine, the SGX7500E provides a maximum output of 7300 W. Standard on all models, an automatic voltage regulator system provides an accurate voltage control output, making the system appropriate for sensitive electronic equipment. Other standard features include low-tone muffler with spark arrestors, low oil-level sensor with automatic shutoff, and a two-wheel kit for improved portability.
