Leveraging its R&D efforts, Carraro expands its lineup of modular steering axles and hydrostatic drivetrain gearbox shifts with the E&Go system, designed for hybrid or electrical propulsion and comprised of a robotized two-speed drivetrain and an inverter for traction control. Suitable for off-highway applications, the E&Go system blends technical ability in motion transmission mechanics with knowledge developed in electronics and applies both to a new type of propulsion. The system features a robotized transmission next to an inverter developed by Santerno to create an efficient, two-speed electric powertrain suitable for applications such as telehandlers and compact wheel loaders and designed to be applied in hybrid or zero-emissions vehicles.
