The 48-V lithium battery upgrade kit from Flux Power fits in the existing space and reportedly provides a range of up to 120 mi (193 km) while weighing 150-200 lb (68-91 kg) less than the factory system.

Flux Power Inc. has introduced a new lithium (Li) battery upgrade kit for Polaris Ranger EVs that lasts up to 10 years or 3000 cycles. The new Flux Power kit is targeted at customers wanting better performance from their existing Polaris Ranger EV ATVs. The 48-V kit fits in the existing space and comes in 8, 9.6, 16, and 19.2-kW·h versions. The kit—said to deliver up to three times the range with less weight vs. the factory system—comes with all necessary hardware while remaining compatible with the Polaris onboard charger. Included are batteries with integrated BMS (battery management system), communication cables, CAN current sensor, state-of-charge indicator, and all mechanical hardware for battery hold-down. Each 12-V module is monitored by the BMS, and charging is regulated by the advanced CAN current sensor.
