TASC to support Development Planning Directorate

The U.S. Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center has awarded TASC Inc. a one-year $9 million contract to support the agency's Concept Development Division of the Development Planning Directorate. TASC will provide the division— known as XRD—with engineering, analysis, and concept development support. XRD is responsible for virtually all phases of planning for future space and missile systems, from conducting engineering studies to designing the strategy that ensures the right technology investment and development. The TASC team will support 10 functional areas, including concept development, modeling simulation and analysis, war game simulation, and program management and integration. TASC's partners on this contract are Integrity Applications Inc., MCR Federal, ManTech International, A2 Consulting, and Element Consulting Group.
