EAO Series 04 PIT Offers Fast Assembly Press Release Image.jpg

EAO Switch’s Series 04 PIT push-in terminal features a Phoenix contact spring terminal connection that reduces assembly time by up to 70% compared to traditional screw terminals. The device is used in applications including transportation and process automation. It offers a reliable, secure connection as well as high resistance to vibration. Cable connection is accomplished by pushing the stripped wire-end into the spring terminal, which applies the correct pressure to maintain a secure connection over the lifetime of the switch. The unit accepts wire sizes from 16 to 26 AWG and provides a mechanical lifetime rating of up to 3 million operations.
