Parker Hannifin's Parflex division offers high-pressure polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) hose assemblies that maintain peak flow rates in working pressures up to 5500 psi (380 bar). Manufactured with a wall of PTFE for improved compatibility with various media, 944B and 955B assemblies feature a static dissipating liner for continuity to end fittings when flow-induced electrostatic charges could damage the assembly. The tube is reinforced with braided SS 304 wire, improving flexibility and bend radius. The stainless-steel wire braid also minimizes volumetric expansion in hydraulic service. Hoses are available from 0.25 to 1.0 in (6.35 to 25.4 mm) inside diameter and are suitable for temperatures of -65 to +400°F (-54 to +204°C). Assemblies are supplied in lengths up to 25 ft (7.6 m).
