The 0101 Series multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) from AVX is claimed to be the industry's smallest MLCC. The component provides increased board space in PA modules, front-end modules, IC packaging, mobile phones, and other applications. The device contributes 45% area reduction and 30% volume reduction compared to 0201 MLCCs. It allows designers to shrink board space without sacrificing performance. In addition, designers can take advantage of the benefits of ceramics, including better dc bias voltage characteristics. The units provide nominal capacitance ratings of 1.0 to 22 pF and a rated voltage of 16 V in NPO, with an operating temperature range of -55 to + 125ÂșC.
