Extending their signal conditioner line, Axiomatic's AX130200 provides a signal conversion and isolation between two incompatible signals. The unit can enable the system integrator to connect several different devices in a control system and converts a pulse width modulated (PWM) signal between 50 Hz to 50 kHz into a 0 to 20 mA current signal, providing full isolation between input, output, and power supply. Features of the PWM-to-current converter include DIN rail housing, screw terminal connections, an LED indicator, 12- or 24-V dc nominal power supply, IP40 housing and short circuit protection, and an operating range of -40 to 85°C (-40 to +185°F). Span and zero is user adjustable, and converters can be customized to meet specific application needs.
