Aerojet announced plans to expand its presence in the Huntsville, AL, community by hiring 25 local engineers. This growth will allow Aerojet to provide collaborative engineering expertise, program management support, and business development outreach to government and prime customers located in the Huntsville area and across the Southeastern U.S. The additional Aerojet engineers will include technical expertise in solid, liquid, and gel propulsion; warheads; specialty metals; and fire suppression systems. The purpose of Aerojet's expanded presence in Huntsville is to provide a better customer interface for all business development and engineering activities. The expansion also will enable Aerojet to examine new product opportunities related to the company's current business base.
