The XL-VNSO joystick controller from J.R. Merritt Controls features long life, noncontacting Hall-effect technology, and durable mechanics. The joystick will accommodate applications requiring digital or analog command signals to control variable-speed drives, programmable logic controllers, and microprocessors, including CAN bus. The 1-, 2-, and 3-axis rugged joystick is suitable for high-duty-cycle applications and rough environment usage on cranes, bucket trucks, aerial work platforms, and material handling equipment in the forestry, mining, and construction industries. It provides proportional control of electrohydraulic proportional valves commonly found on off-road mobile equipment and is constructed with nickel-chromium gimbal yokes, hardened steel bearings, steel shaft guides, bronze gate handle stops, and dual compression return springs in each axis. Various standard and custom gates and a selection of handles are available.
