Anomet Products offers custom-engineered, multilayer precious metal clad products combining the characteristics of different materials to perform in extreme environments. Anomet metal clad products are metallurgically bonded in up to three layers to combine properties such as high conductivity, high strength, corrosion resistance, and lighter weight. Functionally equivalent to solid products, clad products feature a smooth surface finish, with improved ductility and formability over electroplated products, according to the company. Available as wire and rod from 0.002 to 0.125 in (0.51 to 3.175 mm) outside diameter and as ribbon to 1 in (25.4 mm) with 2% or more cladding thickness, Anomet precious metal products include platinum, gold, palladium, or silver clad to core materials such as stainless steel, copper, and titanium. Applications include battery technology, fuel-cell sensors, aerospace, electronic devices, and connectors.
