General Truck Tire's Grabber OA (off-road, all-position) wide base tire in size 445/65R22.5 improves on- and off-road durability. Designed for fleets operating in heavy-load severe service and construction applications, including fire, waste hauling, and concrete mixing, the Grabber OA offers improved single fitment for steer and trailer positions and a high carrying capacity with reinforced shoulder to protect against curbing and abrasions. The tire’s 21/32nds of tread depth and cut- and chip-resistant tread compound extend tire life. A wide base carries up to 12,800 lb (5806 kg) in a single fitment. The deep grooves in the tread elements and an aggressive pattern improve traction on soft soil and muddy roadways, while a thick undertread resists casing penetrations from stones and other debris, allowing for multiple retreads.
