Hamsar's model 71078 is the high-beam companion to its 71076 low-beam LED headlight. The 71078 provides high-beam operation in the 165-mm (6.5-in) size category and delivers the benefits of the low-beam version, including brighter, whiter light than halogen units and reduced power consumption. Other features include a projected service life of more than 20,000 h and a low current draw to reduce fuel consumption. The 71078 offers similar design, construction, and performance features as the low-beam model, which has been tested on municipal buses since its release and has outlasted previous models while preventing stone chipping, scratches, moisture ingress, and condensation. The LED lights deliver a sharp beam pattern and are suitable for commercial applications including buses, heavy-duty truck fleets, and agricultural vehicles.
