Dow Automotive Systems' BETAFILL 55 and BETAMATE 65 adhesive/seam sealer products are suitable for use in a range of commercial vehicle applications. The multipurpose BETAFILL 55 combines the benefits of a seam sealer with a medium-strength adhesive for durable elasticity and good primerless adhesion to a variety of substrates. It is a one-component, moisture-curing polyurethane adhesive/seam sealer with the strength needed for applications such as sealing, filling, and finishing seams. Available in black, gray, and white, BETAFILL 55 adhesive/seam sealer can be sanded and painted. It exhibits flexibility, extrusion, and gunability compared with similar products. BETAMATE 65 urethane adhesive and sealant protects against moisture intrusion and corrosion in body cavities while providing strong, durable bonds. A one-component, moisture-curing product, BETAMATE 65 features durable elasticity, low shrinkage, good lapshear strength, extrusion, and gunability.
