Vector’s VN8900 network interface system for CANoe/CANalyzer real-time applications is the first of a family of products based on the company's XL-Interface. The VN8900 can be used in various applications including those where focus is given to simultaneous access of multiple buses and I/O channels while meeting real-time and latency requirements. A high-performance, real-time platform is created when the VN8900 network interface is used in combination with CANoe or CANalyzer. With the VN8900, older or lower performance PCs including Netbooks can be used without negatively affecting the real-time behavior of the system. The VN8900 also supports a stand-alone operating mode in which CANoe configurations can be executed in real time without connection to the user's PC.
