Insulated torsion bellows

BTLI insulated torsion exhaust bellows from Tru-Flex Metal Hose offer both an interlock hose liner and an insulation blanket between the liner and bellows and provide a flexible decoupler. The bellows reduce noise by over 70% and heat loss by over 75% vs. standard bellows, according to the company. The insulation blanket improves cost effectiveness over outside blankets or wraps without increasing the outside diameter. The liner and insulation extend product life and accommodate all four motions: axial, angular, lateral, and torsion. The BLTI meets EPA and EEA emissions requirements for a zero leak exhaust system from the turbocharger through the treatment system for on- and off-highway vehicles and equipment. The system is available in inside diameters ranging from 2.5 to 6.0 in (63.5 to 152.4 mm), with various end connection styles based on design.
