Cylinder liners

Metaltemple Aquitaine produces cylinder liners for diesel engines in centrifugally cast ferrous materials, such as lamellar, high boron, and high-strength gray iron grades. For demanding engine applications, bimetallic, steel, and ductile iron grades are offered. The company's in-house machining capacities supply finished honed parts with options including induction hardening, rolling, nitriding, and shot-peening. Parts are provided with the tolerances and surface finishes to improve engine running, and bore sizes range from 100 to 600 mm (4 to 24 in). Typical applications include large and heavy-duty trucks, marine and industrial engines, agricultural equipment, and off-highway vehicles. Custom metallurgical solutions with matching honing patterns are offered to account for varying engine operating conditions and increasing peak cylinder pressures.
