Macro Sensors’ EAZY-CAL is a linear variable displacement transducer (LVDT) signal conditioner that employs a fingertip calibration routine and saves time and money by eliminating the repetitive null and span potentiometer adjustments associated with conventional analog-based signal conditioners. Using two front-panel push buttons, calibrations are accomplished digitally in seconds. An intuitive, sequencing four-LED status indicator guides the operator through the calibration process and provides feedback to ensure calibration integrity. Full calibration instructions, along with a connection diagram, are outlined on the side panel for quick reference. The device can be remotely located up to 100+ feet away to facilitate operation in extreme environments.
