Kubotek USA’s KeyCreator version 9, distributed in Germany by Infotech, is a 3-D direct modeller that enables users to be creative, practical, and efficient in their designs. The tool uses Direct Dimension Editing to drive changes to the model instantly, without concern for how the model was created, who created it, and in what order it was created. Optimized internal updating algorithms reduce the time for editing operations, resulting in operations that average 73% faster. KeyCreator files open, on average, 33% faster. Additionally, the Direct Dimension Editing function’s initial selection prompt is expanded from accepting just dimensions to also allowing selection of edges. This supports quickly creating dimensions and driving edits on those faces without having to exit the function to dimension them.
