Transfluid offers two series of compact power shift transmissions for engines operating at less than 150 hp (112 kW). The Revermatic is a robust, power shuttle transmission for industrial applications. A hydraulically operated planetary gear offers soft direction reversing, while an electrically actuated hydraulic selector controls shifting. Standard input is a housing with a 10-in (254-mm) flywheel, and suitable applications include wheel loaders and shutting locomotives. The Rangermatic is a compact powershift transmission available in two- or three-speed versions and equipped with a single stage torque convertor and input housing. A double gear train is actuated by self-contained hydraulic clutches, and applications include specialty vehicles, construction machinery, and railroad equipment. Both transmissions can be equipped with two- or four-wheel drive drop boxes, hydraulically operated parking bakes, and pump PTO drives in manual or automatic versions.
