Isight 4.5 from Dassault Systèmes is the latest release of the company’s simulation process automation and design optimization solution from its Simulia brand, as well as the Simulia Execution Engine (formerly Fiper) 4.5 for executing Isight simulation process flows across computing resources. Providing designers, engineers, and researchers with an open system for integrating design and simulation models created with various CAD, CAE, and other software applications, Isight automates the execution of hundreds or even thousands of simulations. The new features and enhancements in Isight 4.5 allow Dassault Systèmes customers to explore design options previously not possible due to time and cost constraints. According to the company, by leveraging the new parallel algorithm and optimization features in Isight combined with the distributed computing capabilities of Simulia Execution Engine, Dassault Systèmes customers will be able to evaluate more design alternatives in less time, resulting in better products at a lower cost.
