VDO Viewline instruments from Continental were designed for flexibility in harsh environments with various design and installation options. Rugged, robust speedometers and tachometers incorporate up to five LED indicators and multifunctions including odometer, trip odometer, voltage, clock, alarm output, speed warning, turn signal, emergency brake, and high-beam indicator. VDO instruments offer a choice of dial faces, bezel styles, colors, and sizes including 100, 85, and 52 mm (4, 3, and 2 in). Built with sealed dual lenses, LED lighting, and warning indicators, Viewline handles harsh conditions and open cab environments. Anti-corrosion materials and water resistance improve reliability, stepper motors offer accuracy, and continuous vibration and shock tests ensure reliability. A plug-and-play solution with central connector facilitates installation, while various designs in either flush or panel mounting allow instruments to be integrated into any cockpit.
