Dassault Systemes releases the Isight 4.5 simulation process automation and design optimization solution and the Simulia execution engine 4.5 for executing Isight simulation process flows across computing resources. Isight provides designers and engineers with an open system for integrating design and simulation models created with various CAD, CAE, and other software applications to automate simulation execution. Designers can save time and improve designs by optimizing against performance or cost variables through statistical methods such as design of experiments or design for Six Sigma. Isight 4.5 provides scalable parallel algorithms for leveraging multicore computing resources, improves approximation and reliability methods to evaluate product performance across a range of operating variables, and offers improvements to multi-objective optimization and data mining that provide insight into performance attribute trade-offs.
