Caterpillar offers the Cat C15 and C18 Acert industrial power units for improved efficiency and maximum uptime in multiple engine ratings. The C15 offers a range of 328 to 403 kW (440 to 540 hp), while the C18 features 429 to 470 kW (575 to 630 hp). The fuel efficient units allow OEMs and customers to order preconfigured, ready-made power packs for applications including irrigation, dewatering, mining, and hydraulic pumps. The unit is a complete power package containing the radiator, flywheel, alternator, and wiring pre-assembled for installation into OEM and end-user applications. Other options include auxiliary crank pulleys, battery cables, control panels, bases, and clutches.
