tesa tape’s tesa 50650 and tesa 50600 specialty products with silicone adhesive systems were developed for specialty masking and temporary holding applications. Constructed of a durable polyester film backing coated with a distinctive silicone adhesive, tesa 50650 and tesa 50600 are designed to perform well in harsh and demanding conditions, including the ability to withstand temperatures up to 428°F (220°C) for up to 30 min. The polyester backing is resistant to abrasions, as well as to chemical and thermal elements, and the tapes’ crisp edges produce sharp paint lines. These characteristics make the tapes suitable for masking during powder coating applications, composite bonding, and protection and removal of epoxies during bonding processes, among other applications.
