Grote Industries expands its product offerings with the Trilliant infrared (IR) high-output WhiteLight LED lamp featuring two high-intensity IR light engines integrated into the bezel. Tested in off-road conditions and suitable for warfighters, the lamp improves exterior vehicle illumination for military applications on dark battlefields. Each of the Trilliant IR’s two light engines houses high-intensity IR LEDs from Advanced Vehicle Systems. The optical prescription for the light engines uses features that improve peripheral and forward illumination. An existing Trilliant LED WhiteLight lamp can be upgraded to the Trilliant IR lamp by ordering a new bezel. The illumination system will make U.S. warfighters more stealthy, providing them with a greater range of visual acuity and an increased margin of security, according to Grote.
