ITT Interconnect Solutions eliminates the need to use board-to-board connectors and provides a direct interface into the box with the APD direct printed circuit board (PCB) connector. The APD direct is connected to a PCB internally, rather than with a standard crimped cable connection, and requires no harnessing to decrease required board space. Coupled with the lightweight, sealed characteristics of the robust connector, the APD design is suitable for a range of industrial, transportation, and military applications. The connector is sealed to IP67 and IP69K specifications, providing protection against the effects of dust and temporary immersion. Available in 6-, 7-, 19-, 37-, or 51-way versions, the APD direct PCB connector is equipped with a four-way configuration for sensor applications and features machined contacts. Maximum operating voltage is 48 V.
