The first in HED's new series of sealed CAN-based keypads is a 2x6 configuration (CL-607) solid-state microprocessor-based keypad module that is a member of the HED CANLink multiplexed controller family. It provides a versatile, IP67 rated, programmable, and highly visible operator interface. Designed for use as part of a distributed system, the CL-607 has the ability to handle four additional I/Os for reduced vehicle dashboard wiring and complexity. Each the 12 buttons are completely configurable, including custom icons, button backlighting, various LED colors, and individually dimmable. The CL-607 can be programmed using HED’s CANLink Composer programming tool or is available with standard SAE J1939 CAN messaging, and is designed for use with the CANLink Conductor software tool for diagnostics and field troubleshooting.
