The HLD60-H3 linear-belt-driven actuator from OEM Dynamics features a reliable design for reduced maintenance. No brake is required in many vertical applications. Because of its distinct harmonic principle, the H3 belt achieves a gear reduction equivalent of up to 40:1 without the need for a gear head. Other benefits include reduced space and weight, a sturdy and seamless magnetically retained seal strip, and the ability to achieve lengths from 100 mm (4 in) to more than 3 m (10 ft) without attributable losses in performance. Suitable for a range of products as a replacement for regular belt slides, the HLD is offered in standard commercial and high-precision grades and is available with zero backlash inherent gear reduction built in.
