Construction materials, automotive parts, specialty films, and decorative sheets from Hanwha are made from the company's various composite materials. Glass-mat reinforced thermoplastics are sheet-type compound materials composed of polypropylene and reinforced for improved mechanical strength. The flexible multilayer structure absorbs impact and provides hot and cold, as well as creep and crack, resistance and is used on a bumper beam that offers a 20-50% weight reduction. LWRT Azdel Superlite is a thermoplastic, long-fiber-reinforced composite sheet with outer surface laminates that provide a range of product performance. The sound-deadening properties of Azdel Superlite are similar to engineered thermoplastics but with half the weight. The company's EPP expended polypropylene combines foams with polypropylene resins.
