Hyosung’s polyester-tufted carpets compare similarly in performance to nylon-tufted carpets at a lower cost and with greater ease of removing contamination. When compared to needle punch carpets, the PET BCF material performs better on Taber tests and has a better appearance while being easier to remove physical contamination. It is easier to recycle since most of the materials on its back are made of polyester. Additionally, customers can use current production facilities without an added investment.
