Lambda Research's OSLO 6.5 lens design software, which includes 12 program enhancements and improvements to the previous release, is Windows System 7 and Vista compatible. The software features an updated Zemax and CodeV translator, Forbes asphere surface type, and a tabulated surface type that aids in the creation of faceted Fresnel lenses. Also included are updated glass and vendor lens catalogs.
