Objet Geometries’ TangoBlackPlus material allows designers and manufacturers to create high-quality parts that closely resemble a range of rubber products. The material allows for a shorter finishing process, enabling users to accelerate time to market. It expands the firm’s family of materials with rubber-like characteristics—high flexibility and durability, exceptional elongation at break, and good resistance to tear. Black in color, the material will aid in the development of items including soft-touch grips, handles, gaskets, and seals. It is supported by the Eden line of 3-D printing systems and the Connex family of multimaterial 3-D printers.
