The XHA 6600 series tapes were added to a range of high-performance acrylic foam tapes in Avery Dennison's Specialty Tape Advantage Solutions portfolio. The XHA 6600 series' physical nature, whereby the adhesive is mixed into an acrylic foam core, offers improved adhesion and temperature performance with conformability. The tapes were designed for critical fastening and bonding applications in the transportation, building and construction, and electronics industries. The tacky core of UV-cured, closed-cell acrylic foam has a high density, improving die-cutting and conversion, while the compound nature bolsters holding power and tensile strength. The conformable foam provides cushioning and impact resistance over irregular surfaces, and moisture- and solvent-resistant XHA 6600 tapes offer a temperature resistance of up to 200°C (392°F).
