Flexible piezoelectric transducers

Mide Technology’s QuickPack transducers feature piezoelectric wafers packaged into a hermetically sealed protective skin with pre-attached electrical leads, producing a reliable component with no soldered wires. The protective skin also provides electrical insulation and defense against humidity and contaminants, bringing ease of connection and increased lifetime to piezoelectric actuators, sensors, vibration dampers, cooling fans, and energy harvesters. An addition to the smart technology is the PowerAct piezoelectric transducer, which conforms to curved surfaces to add conformability and directionality of actuation to the benefits of the QuickPack transducer, making it suited for applications with cylindrical or complex surfaces.
