Spal USA offers a line of cameras and monitors for cars, trucks, SUVs, boats, and campers. Featuring anodized metal housings, the 12-V cameras are waterproof and can be mounted anywhere in the vehicle, including the bumper. Features include low lux ratings for improved images in low-light settings. The cameras work together with color LCD monitors available in various sizes that can be mounted to the roof or dash with up to three video inputs and a reverse-image feature. A touch-screen interface and preset grid help determine obstacle distances, while the company's wireless video signal kit converts cameras and monitors to wireless mode with a 30-ft (9-m) range, depending on installation location. Kits and cameras plug directly into most OEM and aftermarket multimedia or video players using a standard video plug or adapter; all cameras include up to 25 ft (7.5 m) of cable and a drill bit for installation.
