The Deutsch Industrial micro connect (IMC) series distributed by LADD Industries offers a variety of electrical connector options for high-performance applications. Unsealed, high-pin-density, small-wire-gauge connectors, the IMC series is available in two shell sizes and seven pin arrangements covering wire gauges from 16 to 26 awg. The compact connectors are not environmentally sealed, but with the recommended adhesive and back fittings IMC connectors are sealed to IP67. Receptacles can be used in-line or are available with an integral flange for mounting. IMC connectors use gold-plated contacts, making them suitable for low-voltage and data-transmission applications. Gold pins are available in extended lengths for use in PCB applications. IMC connectors meet UL94 Class V-O flammability requirements and are currently being used in test-equipment applications and industrial sensors.
