Eastman Chemical offers a performance additive to enable volatile organic compound (VOC)-compliant coatings in high-solids systems. Suitable for applications such as automotive and OEM solvent-borne basecoats, the cellulose ester additive has been specifically engineered to help achieve higher solids and lower VOCs while improving performance and aesthetics. Derived from natural and renewable cellulose materials, Solus 2300 helps boost productivity through enabling higher solids levels and reducing dry-to-touch time. Solus 2300 is available commercially in Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia.
